The idea of MyArtBook started with Niek Drommel. A young entrepreneur and street art artist from Zandvoort in the Netherlands.

Niek himself sells sketchbooks in his shop and in his spare time, Niek spends a lot of time making art.

He used many sketchbooks with different paper qualities for this. Niek had a sketchbook for every technique.

He was looking for a sketchbook in which he could combine these types of paper. However, this didn’t exist yet and that’s how the idea of MyArtBook started.

In 2019, the young entrepreneur Niek took the plunge and went looking for a partner to further develop and market MyArtBook.

He found the partner in Papicolor International BV. Papicolor was the partner with a wide range of paper types and knowledge of paper.
